17ft Mega Tree Frame

Overview
A crank-up, telescoping steel frame for building an RGB pixel mega tree of approximately 12ft. It suits gardens, driveways and entrances or anywhere else you want a centrepiece of a display

Specification 

• Height: approximately 17ft (5.2m) when fully raised
• Designed for 100 pixels per strand at 2" spacing
• 8ft L-shaped steel base hoop with a number of different hole patterns to give you 16, 32, 64 or even 96 strands
• Build A Light Show tool-free 64-hole topper
• Crank-up telescoping pole, so most of the build can be done at ground level

Not included
Pixels, controllers, power supplies and ground fixings

Supplied for the UK market
This frame is based on the established US based Mattos Designs mega tree. Before offering it in the UK, we had it independently inspected by a very reputable structural engineering firm who specialise in unique structures such as this. Following their inspection, we made a number of modifications, and the frame is built to meet the relevant BS EN Eurocodes.

A full operating manual was produced as part of this process. It covers assembly, raising and lowering, ground fixing, and the conditions the frame should be used in. Please read it before purchase, and definitely before installation.

Important
The frame meets the Eurocodes only when it is installed and used as the manual describes, including the guidance on anchoring and wind conditions.

Shipping
The frame weighs in excess of 135KGs, and unpackaged is a PVC wheeled bag, but otherwise is in a wooden shipping crate approximately 215x45x32cm. As such, you need to request a shipping quote to order this, and collection will be advised, as this will have to ship with a dedicated courier - expect costs to be above £120.
