  10. ChromaStones (set of 6)

The ChromaStones are our take on a classic Halloween decorating item of Tomb Stones.
Please note, these are in black, not white as pictured.

Each ChromaStone is approximately 23" tall, 15" wide, and contains 19-27 node mounting holes depending on the style chosen. The holes are designed for 12mm Square nodes but bullet style nodes work as well. When using the square node, it will recess into the 10mm coro allowing the LED to be fully exposed on the face of the ChromaStone while helping reduce the light and wire height on the rear of the ChromaStone. A series of ziptie holes have been added to allow you to attach a stake. A small 3/8" rod can be used as a stake and the 10mm Coro will slide over it if that is preferred. While the silhouette of the ChromaStones is a great addition to any Halloween display, you can add names to the ChromaStones by painting them.

    • 19-27 nodes per ChromaStone
    • Designed specifically for 12mm square nodes but bullets work as well.
    • Available in BLACK only at this time
    • Made from heavy duty 10mm coro
    • Each ChromaStone is approximately 23" tall and 15" wide
    • 100% American Made from Material, Design, and Fabrication

Assembly: Nothing fancy here, just install 19-27 of your favorite 12mm pixels or dumb nodes.

  11. Icicles

These icicle lights span a distance of around 10 feet per strand or 8 feet if you use the Boscoyo Icicle strip. They can be hung freely by themselves or by utilising the Icicle strip that allows the nodes to point straight forward creating a very spaced out matrix.

        Voltage: 12V
        Protocol: WS2811
        Node Spacing: 10cm / ~4"
        Drop Spacing: 20cm/~8"
        Type: 12mm Bullets
        Nodes Per. String: 105
        Number of Drops: 15
Number of Nodes Per Drop: 7
        Wire Colour: White

There has been quite a lot of confusion in the market for Icicles, with vendors producing 3 wire or 4 wire icicles, in varying drop lengths etc.
These are 4 wire, 12v, 7 per drop, 15 drops per string, totalling 105 nodes, and are designed to work perfectly with the Boscoyo Icicle mounts we stock.
When comparing the prices to other vendors, please remember that most other vendors sell in strings of 70, and will appear to be cheaper

    Description:

Our ChromaStars are the perfect way to top off our ChromaPole or MegaTree kit. Features: Designed to use 12mm bullet pixels or RGB nodes, the ChromaStar offers a 3 ring concentric star topper that fits nicely on our ChromaPole or MegaTree kits. The entire star is 23" across with the small star having 20 nodes, the middle ring with 30 nodes, and the outer ring with 40 nodes. A custom designed clamp utilizes 4 pieces of 10mm coro and cable ties to attach the star to the 3/4" EMT.

    • Each ChromaStar kit contains the star and coroclamp
    • Three concentric stars contaning 20, 30, and 40 nodes
    • 23" across

    Assembly:

Install your pixels or RGB, nodes. Next install the two larger pieces of the coroclamp in from the front side of the ChromaStar. The fit is tight so it stay in place. Next insert the two filler plates on the back side of the ChromaStar above the bottom pixels and install four cable ties to hold all four pieces of the coroclamp together. This will lock in the coroclamp to the ChromaStar. See attached pictures to see orientation of the coroclamp pieces. Now you can fit the ChromaStar to the 3/4" EMT and install the final cable ties to secure the ChromaStar to the element.

  21. Name: Large 360 Derek's Dalek MiniTree - White
These are in stock - please contact us for a shipping quote

    Description:

Based on Derek backus' design of his MiniTree made of steel, we have adapted his design to a cost effective coro version.

    Features:

The Large Version of Derek's Dalek MiniTree uses panels with 17 Pixels/RGB nodes for a total of 170 nodes in a 360 degree configuration. You can install as many or as few nodes as you like. The tree also includes our 12" 20 node star that is held in place with two nodes and reinforced with a steel rod.

    • 10x17 MegaTree node configuration 170 Nodes total
    • Pixel spacing of 2.25" centre to centre
    • includes 12" 20 node star (white coro only)
    • Made from 4mm fluted plastic (coro)
    • Mini tree is 39" tall without star and 50" tall with star mounted
    • The base is 23" wide and the top is 3" wide
    • The back panel has a series of cable tie mounting holes to attach tree to a stake or 1/2" EMT Conduit
    • 100% American Made from Material, Design, and Fabrication

    Assembly:

The inside of the tree has the score marks for folding. I recommend that you pre-fold these seams before putting the tree together. Install pixels or RGB nodes of your choice. Take the star and install the metal reinforcement rod if it isn't already installed, make sure it is in a channel that doesn't obstruct a node mounting hole. Then bend the star mounting tab slightly just below the star to make it straight when the tree is complete and it keeps the reinforcement from falling out. Make all wire connections now. When you are ready to close the tree, install the cable ties loosely until you have them all in place then you can tighten them up to make the tree close. Place one outer shell faced down, then place the backer panel and finally the second outer shell faced up. Align all the cable tie holes on one side first and install the cable ties loosely. Then rotate the tree and begin installing the cable ties loosely again. You may need to bend the cable tie like a hook on the end to help feed it through the holes. Now you can tighten up the cable ties and the tree is complete.

  22. Crimpers

These are the crimpers we recommend to use with our Red Heatshrink Crimps.
They are adjustable, and we ship them on quite a weak setting, but we recommend that you wind the tension up at least 5 notches to ensure a good crimp on the connectors. We will send 5 crimps with the tool, so you can test out the tension before using them on your pixels!

    14.99 GBP

  23. These are great for field repairs, to repair those pesky pixels that break in annoying places at annoying times. Also fantastic for those who want to have a quick easy method of string building.
These are adhesive lined heatshrink crimps, so you get multiple forms of joint security, and also waterproofing.
We recommend that you use very good quality crimpers (we sell the ones we recommend here in the store) to use these, as if they are too weak you will not achieve a good mechanical joint. A good heatgun or brazing torch is fantastic for shrinking down the seal. We will be putting a video up of how to use these soon!

    3.99 GBP

  24. Probably one of the easiest ways to join cables, requires little to no skill. We will be doing a video on their use soon, but they should be fairly self explanatory.
    Things to note;
Lots of people try to use heat guns with these. You are far better off with a brazing torch, mini blow torch, or a kitchen butane torch. They will make a better seal and allow the solder to get up to temperature and flow better within the joint.
2nd main thing to note, is that if you are using these to install as opposed to field repair, the addition of a bit extra tin/lead solder will be good.

We love these things, and we believe have the most competitively priced  offering out there (especially stocked in the UK!!)

    9.99 GBP

  25. We often get asked "what do we need to build a controller?" or "Can we buy something ready to run?"
So, we have finally got to a position where we can offer the following:

An F16 v3 Pixel Controller - probably the best controller on the market - specs are below
    2x RSP 12v or 5v PSUs
A CG1500 Enclosure, with the back and door plates, to mount the controller and PSUs.
    16x Weatherproof Pigtails
All the associated connectors and screws to fit it all together.

The only thing you need to provide, is mains power to the box, and a couple of hours to assemble it.
We couldn't make it a lot simpler - and you also save yourself a few ££s by buying all this together as a kit!

  29. The Pi-OLED Hat is a board to easily allow mounting an OLED display onto a Raspberry Pi to display simple status information such as network IP address and player status.

It also provides push buttons that are used to access the FPP OLED menu system. From the menus, playlists can be started, various test modes activated, shutdown/restart, tethering options, etc… are available with more to come in future versions of FPP.

The hat also provides a simple i2c temperature sensor for reading the current temperature in the mounting location.

Finally, the board provides two expansion headers. The first is a 1×4 female header that provides access to the I2C bus for additional I2C peripherals. The second is a 2×5 male header that is a direct mapping to the first 10 pins of the Raspberry Pi connector. It exposes the I2C bus as well as 3 GPIO pins that could be used to wire additional push buttons or other sensors or triggers. Since it is a direct mapping to the Pi header, any of the Pi I2C devices such as RTC’s should work.

The price includes a blue/yellow OLED. We will be stocking other choices soon.
We would like to thanks Dan Kulp for helping us with bringing you this product - we urge all our customers to donate to the FPP project - you can find details here:
